Landstar celebrated a significant milestone in its commitment to developing and advancing women in leadership with the inaugural Women’s Leadership Forum at the Jacksonville headquarters.
Women representing diverse teams, roles, and disciplines from across the organization gathered for this first-of-its-kind event. Moderated by Cory Seay, Vice President of Corporate Services & Chief of Staff, the forum marks a new initiative championed by President & CEO Frank Lonegro to strengthen collaboration and provide more opportunities for women to thrive.

Landstar was honored to welcome Board Chair Diana Murphy and Board Member Teresa White as the featured speakers. Murphy, who has served on the Board since 1998, shared stories from her trailblazing career — from breaking barriers and glass ceilings in journalism to making history as only the second woman to serve as President of the United States Golf Association. White, President Emeritus of Aflac U.S., reflected on the importance of championing others, transforming culture, and embracing bold decisions on the path of leadership.
The conversation was interactive, candid, and energized by participants’ questions — grounded in real-world lessons and guided by decades of executive experience. Murphy encouraged women to support one another and confidently pursue their ambitions.
White inspired attendees to reflect, asking, “How am I helping to meet corporate objectives? What can I learn from this role? What can I do to embrace change and add value?”
Seay closed the event by expressing gratitude to Murphy and White for their leadership and inspiration — and reaffirming Landstar’s commitment to continuing the Women’s Leadership Forum as an ongoing platform for connection, learning, and growth.
