Landstar named independent Landstar agent Kris Woolman as its 2025 Rookie of the Year at the 2026 Landstar Agent Convention in April.

Woolman spent several years in logistics before launching her agency, 2Chicks Logistics, in winter 2025 in Chesterfield Township, Michigan. Her agency primarily handles less-than-truckload freight. Her dedication and entrepreneurial drive have enabled her to successfully coordinate freight movement and generate more than $1.6 million in Landstar revenue, earning her the 2025 Rookie of the Year award.

“In the short time since leasing to Landstar, Kris’ freight agency has demonstrated outstanding growth and revenue performance,” said Landstar President and Chief Executive Officer Frank Lonegro. “Her commitment to safety, security, and service sets the standard for rookie agents in the Landstar network.”

Recipients of the Rookie of the Year award must be part of the Landstar network for less than two years, demonstrate outstanding revenue performance, and exemplify excellence in customer service. Nominees for the 2025 Rookie of the Year award were independent Landstar agencies opened and operating between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. Landstar defines a rookie as an independent agent who is new to the Landstar network, but not necessarily new to the transportation industry.
