Landstar is launching the new look for the company’s extranet, LandstarOnline, to independent owner-operators leased to the company. The change will make it easier for these business capacity owners (BCOs) to find the business tools they use every day, like the Available Loads board, settlement data and other resources. The phased rollout begins March 22.

LandstarOnline will contain the same Landstar technology, tools, information and content that users regularly access, but in a more user friendly, easy-to-navigate tile format. Plus, the site features dynamic data tiles designed to give users specific information about their accounts, including:

  • Detailed information on cards and card balances
  • Due dates and reminders about important compliance items
  • Daily updates on voluntary escrow or “rainy day funds”

“The BCOs who served as beta testers helped shape what information needed a tile and which tiles should showcase dynamic data, making LandstarOnline really easy to use and navigate while on the road,” said Rocco Davanzo, Landstar Transportation Logistics executive vice president of capacity development. “Now the important business information BCOs need is only one click, or less, away.”

Whether BCOs are using LandstarOnline from their desktops, laptops, tablets or mobile phones, the site update makes it easy to access information to help keep their businesses successful.
