On Tuesday, November 25, Feeding Northeast Florida stopped by to pick up loads of donated food items — along with the final total of employee contributions, all part of a month-long campaign. 

From October 27 through November 21, Landstar employees united for our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, generously supporting Feeding Northeast Florida, the region’s largest nonprofit food bank. Their team partners with local agencies, schools, and community organizations to provide meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity. 

Landstar employees donated 743 pounds of food — enough to provide 22,998 meals. When you add in employees' financial contributions, that total grows to 23,618 meals for families in our community!

Thanks to our employees’ kindness, we’re helping ensure families in our community have what they need this holiday season. A heartfelt thank-you to Landstar team members Debbie Templeton and Alexis Williams for coordinating this year’s drive and leading this meaningful effort.
